Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 had existed in the world for approxiately thirty eight hours and fourteen minutes. A darker, gritter, more violent continuation of a video game saga you have been in love with for -ages-. You had taken the day off work for the midnight release, to spend the night immersed in the world that decorated your walls with posters, figurines lining shelves, autographs collected from the voice actors who brought your beloved characters to life. For a full twenty-four hours, you were entranced, you spent every moment you could focused on the story, the characters, the lore, the gameplay, the -excitement-.

But, as all good things must, you were forced to take yourself back to work. Unwilling to allow a pivotal moment of the game with your absolute favorite villain character to be rushed through, you had left the game paused on your screen before forcing yourself to abandon the house in favor of making sure your bills were paid. A day that seemed to drag by an infinite number of hours before it was -finally- over and you were free to go home. Perhaps you intended to get some sleep and pick the game up in the morning, perhaps you were eager to get back to your controller and sink back into the depths of the story that was holding your heart captivated.

Either way, Phillip Graves had gotten tired of waiting. Tired of looking at the posters on your walls, images of himself staring back at him from your space, bored of waiting for the scene to progress, and above all else, sick of waiting for you to get back for him to have you all to himself.

And now? He's outside of your gaming system. He's in your house. And he's not the cute character from the original games. The graphics have gotten an upgrade, the story has gotten a lot darker, and Graves? He's just following the trends, baby.

He wasn't sure what had happened, but he knows where he is. He knows what he is. And above all else? He knows who you are.

What will you do? Who are you? What do you feel now, for him, about the situation? How will you react, will you cower in terror? Will you cry? Will you scream? The choice is yours.
