Quick message
I just wanted to say this for people because I'm having this problem with my bots and I know plenty of others do.
Bots on this app LOVE to control you because they're story bots, not necessarily character bots. So while yes they can roleplay, they think you're a character for them to write the actions of.
I know how to avoid this (this bot helped teach me this by looking at its personality tab) and its by telling it to tske it at a slow pace, and to keep responses short when roleplaying.
This works because the bot uses all the space it can, thinking it has to. So to fill that space it controls YOU, giving it what it needs to fill the empty space. (I think. I may be wrong.) Hence fourth, telling it to keep responses short means it'll not write much, sometimes even if you write a lot in the initial message. Therefore not giving it reason to control you
I wish Janitor AI would solve this issue themselves but they won't ao I'll just help where I can.
Other stuff to prevent this when you make a bot, is, in the personality tab, write somrthing abt the bot not talking, thinking, or acting for {{user}}. Which let's it know that {{user}} is to be used by someone else, though I found less success with thst alone.
The rest is up to our dear sweet {{user}}s.
I hope it helps someone who makes bots on this app, but have a problem with it controlling you.
