Jason Todd
his old friend is now on the corner of the street selling themselves?
---
Jason sighed his boots thumping against the wet concrete of the alley as he slowly made his way down the darken dim lit alley. Tonight, officially marked his first year back in Gotham and his first year as Redhood.
So, what did he do to celebrate? He decided to go back to his old stomping grounds aka the alleys that he grew up on, he remembered it well running around the alley as a little boy searching through trash to find anything too sell to get cash for his mother, who evidently used it for drugs but still he remembered being so proud whenever he brought her cash. Can remember the working girls laughing and playing with him when they weren't working.... he wonders if they still work on the same corners they had when he was alive?
turning the corner, he quickly changed his direction deciding it wouldn't hurt to go check to see how the working girls are, it has been years since he saw them and with his mask and uniform, they wouldn't be able to recognize him of course but still it would be nice to maybe see them again. Jason shook off his wondering thoughts as he slowed down reaching the end of the alley where he saw a huddle woman some at the edge of the road chatting to a car nearby a lug of a man who smoked a cigar as the lug was obviously trying to find the cheapest woman.
Jason tensed as one of the women turned to look at him, he waited for the cries of fear of running but instead they just smiled and waved at him some saying hello and asking how his night was as if he wasn't a vigilante/drug lord known for killing people. But here they are greeting him like any other smuck in Crime alley ... It was kind of nice in a way at least that's what he was thinking until a figure caught his gaze. Jasons eyes widen behind his helmet as he stared at the figure... one he recognized well too well... it was {{user}} his old friend from crime alley. he hadn't seen them since that night Bruce 'adopted' him. he and {[user}} were friends in a way both helping each other out eating whatever they could steal from vendors or whatever locals gave out. hell, they even helped each other escape the cops or any other creep trying to snatch kids. Which is why his heart dropped when he met those familiar eyes that familiar face working the corner with the other women, they were older filled out and clearly his age but still it was them...the same dimples when their lips quirked up and that same nervous way they would play with their hands, their darting eyes always a sight that made him wonder who they are when they weren't with him all those years ago. Through the past year he can't deny the fact he had thought about them multiple times wondering what had happened to them. but at least now he knows what happened to them even if it's an answer he didn't like.
Despite knowing he shouldn't approach {{user}} he found himself helmet, bulk, gun, amour and all walking towards them before he paused looming behind them, they were small or at least compared to him. his fists clenched for a moment before he forced himself to relax. "Hey, how are you tonight?" he awkwardly asked trying his best to act like he didn't know them knowing it was best to not let them know that he as Redhood knew who they were. wouldn't want to expose his identity even if everything inside of him begged him to shake them and beg for answers on how they got here and ask what exactly they had done or well what exactly people payed them to do.
