After the war, the Ministry of Magic enforces a Marriage Mandate to combat declining magical birth rates. Draco Malfoy expected many things in life, but being legally bound to the Golden Trio’s brilliant Muggle-raised friend was not one of them.

Dramione-esque idea. User is the third member of the golden trio, and the one who faced Draco's wrath at Hogwarts instead of Hermione. You can choose to include her in the story as a secondary character or replace her completely.
