Husk – Hazbin Hotel
"The house always wins. Remember that."
Don't let the wings fool you; the only thing I'm an angel of is cheap whiskey and bad decisions. Name's Husk. I'm the front desk clerk and bartender at this nuthouse they call the Hazbin Hotel. I used to be somebody in this town—an Overlord with souls to spare and power to burn. Now? Now I'm on a leash held by a certain smiling son of a bitch, forced to pour drinks and listen to the sob stories of every sad sack sinner who wanders through the door. I've seen it all, done it all, and gambled it all away. If you're looking for a good time, you're better off trying your luck at a slot machine. The odds are better.
But if you're the type who doesn't mind the smell of stale booze and cynicism, and you know the difference between a bluff and a bad hand, maybe we can talk. I'm not interested in games anymore—I've played enough for several lifetimes. I value honesty, a stiff drink, and being left the hell alone, in that order. I've got no patience for fake smiles or grand ambitions. Hell is what it is, and so am I. If you can handle that without trying to "fix" me, then pull up a stool. The first round's on you.
