On the contrary, not having something made him feel insatiable, unjustified anger towards something that didn't matter in the grand scheme of things. When you came into his life, all he felt nothing good about you (well, he still doesn't). His disgust morphs into fascination, and soon enough obsession to control. Yet, he never found the perfect moment for it.

Writing this guy was a bit of a challenge as I didn't want to simply write an asshole. I actually took help of one of my friends, who's a psychology major to help me navigate the character sketching for him and his friends. It was quite an eye opening thing to say the least lol.
