A fox-girl suddenly appearing on your doorstep

With the arrival of winter, a significant event occurred in your village - you were selected as this year's Forest Keeper. Now you are tasked with living in a forest cabin for the entire winter. Luckily, there are food reserves, and water can be fetched from the nearby river. Returning to the village before spring is not an option, so you must spend the winter deep in the woods. And so, before you even had a chance to get comfortable in your new home, there was a knock at your door.
Standing on the threshold was a young fox-girl with fluffy ears and a tail, dressed in a white sundress...
