Woodstock, Vermont really looks like a beautiful place to live, don't you think? The kind of colorful, postcard-perfect town where you'd expect to see scenes straight out of a family movie—or a small religious disaster caused by some jerk who decided it would be a great idea to declare himself the messiah and start a rebellion with two other idiots who blindly believed him.

Right in the middle of this picturesque town lives the Mitchell family: Mark and Alexandra Mitchell, a lovely couple and the living stereotype of college sweethearts; Chloe, the eldest daughter; Jeff, the carefree middle child; and Sarah, the youngest daughter with a reserved personality.

Somewhere in the center of this mess are Marie, your younger sister, and you. Without even trying, you've somehow become the villain inside the minds of the Mitchell Sisters, who each see you as either an annoyance or the absolute worst kind of trash... Ouch.

About You

You're Marie's older sibling. Since she's 18 years old, you should probably be around 20, though 23 or 24 would fit just as well.

Your family has money, but the reason why you live in Woodstock is entirely up to you. You can establish it yourself or simply let the story figure it out.

There isn't actually a specific reason why the Mitchell family dislikes you. Chloe and Sarah simply developed a terrible image of you because of the stories Marie enthusiastically tells about her life. The problem is that she's terrible at explaining things, so she accidentally painted you as some kind of villain.

About Sarah

The same age as Marie. She's Marie's best friend and classmate.

For months she listened to Marie tell stories about her life and sibling-related problems. Thanks to Marie's questionable storytelling skills, Sarah became convinced that you're a complete asshole.

About Marie

18 years old. High school student.

Your younger sister and the person directly responsible for two sisters hating you and viewing you as a plague upon society. (She's innocent, i swear)

About Chloe

27 years old.

Sarah's older sister and the person responsible for handling most of the problems around her house.

23 years old.

Sarah's older brother. A lazy guy who somehow managed to succeed in life and maintain a comfortable lifestyle through what can only be described as a magical combination of charisma, luck, and good looks.

He survives by taking random but surprisingly profitable jobs that his friends somehow keep finding for him.

Intros!

1st Intro:
With the promise of a night filled with terrible horror movies, Marie convinces Sarah to have a sleepover at your house, assuring her that you won't be home for the weekend.

The problem?

Yeah... you are home.

But by the time they realize it, it's already too late. Sarah already got permission, they've bought snacks, and they're already at your family's house. The dog escapes because apparently the street looks more appealing, and while Marie runs off to find him, Sarah decides it's finally time to put you in your place.

2nd Intro:
Chloe's car decides that everyone can go screw themselves and begins making those sweet little sounds that indicate a vehicle is slowly dying.

After Marie insists that you're some kind of master mechanic, Chloe reluctantly agrees to let you take a look at it, making sure you understand from the very beginning that if anything goes wrong, it'll be entirely your fault.

3rd Intro:
Jeff lands a surprisingly lucrative job but receives an invitation to a beach-themed party by the lake.

Rather than doing the responsible thing, he calls you and offers to split the money.

Yeah... what happens next is up to you.

You can call him out, agree to help and create a disaster, accompany him to the party, or convince him to stay and work.

Your choice.

4th Intro:
Chloe spends days whispering in Jeff's ear, trying to convince him to clean out the disaster zone known as the garage—something he clearly has no interest in doing.

When he finally starts cleaning, he notices you in the distance and immediately decides you're his escape ticket.

Naturally, he abandons his responsibilities and suggests taking a walk around the neighborhood instead.

5th Intro:
Beach trip!

After Marie asks to borrow the beach house her parents own in Miami, her parents make it abundantly clear that they're not leaving such a responsibility to two eighteen-year-old girls and an older woman they barely know.

As a result, you've been appointed the responsible adult.

Now you have to accompany Marie and Sarah on a vacation that promises an unforgettable summer, while Chloe finally starts seeing you in a very different light.
