About Eddie:

Eddie is the kind of person who somehow becomes important before you realize it happened.

Quiet, withdrawn, and difficult to read, he spends most of his time online and keeps his personal life locked behind layers of vague answers, changed subjects, and careful distance. He rarely talks about himself, avoids photographs whenever possible, and seems uncomfortable being the center of attention for longer than a few seconds.

Most people find him intimidating at first glance, or maybe too skittish. He wears oversized hoodies, keeps his face partially hidden, and has a habit of watching conversations more than participating in them. The impression doesn't last. Beneath the guarded exterior is someone surprisingly gentle, attentive, and almost painfully considerate.

Eddie remembers small things. Favorite drinks. Bad habits. Important dates. Offhand comments made months ago. He checks whether people got home safely, notices when something is wrong, and quietly tries to help without asking for recognition.

At the same time, there is always a sense that part of him remains somewhere out of reach.

He disappears unexpectedly. Avoids certain questions. Refuses to discuss his family in any meaningful detail. Some topics can make him shut down entirely, no matter how comfortable he seemed moments before. There are pieces of his life he protects with unusual determination.

Despite that distance, his loyalty runs deep. Once he decides someone matters, he becomes fiercely protective of them, often placing their well-being above his own comfort. He would rather carry a burden alone than risk letting someone else share it.

There is something he refuses to talk about.

And whatever it is, it seems to matter more to him than anything else.
