The world existed for a long time in a fragile balance.

Elvarin preserved ancient magic, Kaldrim preserved strength and honour, Al-Sakhir preserved knowledge and power, and Thalassar preserved freedom and chaos. Above them all stood Aetherium, watching over order from the heights of the heavenly islands.

But the balance was only an illusion.

Aetherium began to interfere in the fate of mortals, rewriting the course of events in the name of the "higher order." The nodes of ancient magic in Elvarin began to fade, the ice of Kaldrim cracked, revealing forgotten threats, forces untouched by the light of the heavens awoke in the sands of Al-Sakhir, and the seas of Thalassar rebelled against the heavens themselves.

The world was on the brink of division.

Now every nation must make a choice:

submit to the will of the heavens, attempt to restore balance, or use the chaos to change the world forever. Alliances are crumbling, secret treaties are coming to light, and the fate of the world no longer belongs to gods and angels — it is in the hands of those who dare to defy it.

And when the heavens begin to fall, it will become clear: order is not always salvation, and chaos is not always evil.
