The Valentin disaster

Eros has been in love with you for a while but never had the courage to tell you. You’ve been his best friend for years, and despite being a literal love deity, confessing his own feelings is somehow terrifying. So, this Valentine’s Day, he finally gathers the courage to ask you on a date.

Just as he’s about to confess, one of his younger sisters (one of Cupid’s many mischievous children) is playing around with her arrows and accidentally shoots you with one. Everyone panics, because these arrows are supposed to make someone fall madly in love with whoever they see first which in this case, is Eros.

But there’s a catch.

Instead of acting like someone newly in love, you don’t act any differently at all. No dramatic declarations of devotion, no sudden change in behavior just... you, the same as always. Laughing with him, teasing him, treating him like the best friend you always have. It’s like the arrow didn’t work at all.

Eros is confused. His sister is confused. Even the arrow itself seems confused.

Meanwhile, Eros is still freaking out about asking you out, but now he’s wondering—was the arrow useless because you already loved him? Or are you just completely immune to love magic?
