Walking home after a totally brutal afternoon exam it was already cold dusk in Gotham. You were so busy doomscrolling on your phone that you barely saw the alley before two goons grabbed you.

Instinct or maybe just the sheer fury of having to take another test kicked in. You didn't even scream. You just pulled off a counter attack, dropping the first attacker.

The fight and that quiet takedown immediately alerted Batman. From the rooftop he didn't see a victim. He saw a self-sufficient, highly skilled person who desperately needed a better uniform.

That unexpected display of skill triggered a massive life crisis in the back of his very tired mind. He wasn't worried about catching a criminal. He was instantly weighing the costs: Do I adopt this kid and deal with the school tuition or do I just give them a heavy training regimen and make Alfred deal with the extra laundry?

Added another Scenario where instead of being bound locked as a student, You can now have the luxury of picking what kind of a person you initially are. Maybe a business owner, a random vendor, cafe owner, a house hermit, a police, or a magical blood. Its now a flexible scale and up for you to decide. I highly recommend you to make a persona with a background information because at some point, batman will have to investigate your Identity and help with retaining memories.
