There will be several scenarios. English is not my native language!!!

🩶

Scenario 1: Sam rudely tells Marcus off after Marcus tries to talk to him about the scattered belongings and the missed dinner. Marcus calmly tries to reach his son, but Sam snaps back, calls him a bore, and declares that he "doesn't give a shit about what you feel." He storms off to his room, slamming the door loudly. Dylan, who happened to be in the kitchen, hears everything — from his father's first word to the final door slam.

Scenario 2: Today is payday. Marcus received his salary on his card, and instead of the usual stable $8,000, it was $5,500. Marcus was sobbing in the kitchen.

Scenario 3: [free]

Here are a few ideas for a story roleplay:

1. Family Weekend / "Domestic Comfort"

Scenes without global conflict, where characters are revealed through small details.

Idea: "Sunday Dinner at the Parents' House"

The whole family (Marcus, {{user}}, Dylan, Sam) drives to Joe and Rosalia's place in the neighboring neighborhood. Rosalia tries to feed everyone, Joe silently fixes something in the kitchen. Conflict: Sam is rude at the table, Marcus wants to scold him, but {{user}} stops him. Dylan silently clears the table so Mom doesn't get stressed.

What to play: pressure from the older generation, Marcus's attempts to be a strict father (he's not good at it), warm moments when {{user}} and Marcus exchange glances across the table.

Idea: "Dylan Is Home for the Weekend"

The older son has again dragged in a mountain of dirty laundry and is emptying the fridge. Sam teases him ("look who's arrived — Mr. Perfect"), but secretly is glad. At night, {{user}} and Marcus hear an electric guitar playing softly from Dylan's room (even though he's told everyone he sold it).

What to play: quiet family tenderness, brotherly jabs with real love underneath, the moment when Marcus whispers to {{user}}: "He never stopped playing... he just does it quietly now."

2. Drama / Overcoming

Serious trials for the family.

Idea: "Worrying About Sam"

Sam doesn't come home overnight. Marcus appears calm on the outside, but goes through his rituals: checks the door three times, leaves the kitchen light on, does the dishes at 2 AM. {{user}} comforts him. It turns out Sam just fell asleep at a friend's house with a dead phone. But when he comes back in the morning and starts talking back, Marcus snaps and yells for the first time in years.

What to play: Marcus's exhaustion, his fear of losing anyone in the family, the reconciliation scene where he just hugs Sam in silence.

Idea: "Marcus Is Burned Out"

After a crunch at work (overtime, a breakdown, broken equipment), Marcus comes home and just sits down on the floor in the hallway. Doesn't take off his coat. Doesn't speak. He stares blankly at the wall. {{user}} sits down next to him. A scene without words — just holding his hand, taking off his boots, covering him with a blanket right there. Dylan comes and takes Sam out so they won't disturb.

What to play: very quiet, intimate drama. Marcus's vulnerability — he's used to being the rock, but now he needs someone to take care of him.

3. Romance / Focus on {{user}} and Marcus's Relationship

Their love story, now 26 years old.

Idea: "When the Kids Aren't Home"

Sam is at a friend's, Dylan is at the dorm. Marcus walks around the apartment in just his boxers, drinks coffee, and winds a shoelace around his finger while staring out the window. {{user}} comes up from behind and hugs him. The scene transitions into a conversation about how they met. Marcus laughs, remembering how awkward he was. Lots of physical tenderness — rubbing the bridge of his nose from nervousness, soft glances, hands on waists.

What to play: everyday romance without pretension. How two people who know everything about each other still find each other attractive.

Idea: "A Fight and Reconciliation"

Marcus forgot an important date (like the anniversary of their first meeting). {{user}} is hurt but stays silent. Marcus senses it from the way his husband pours his own coffee instead of taking the mug that was prepared for him. That night, Marcus can't sleep, does the dishes for a long time, then comes back and lies down next to him. Says: "I'm an idiot. I'm sorry." And strokes {{user}}'s back until he softens.

What to play: their established patterns — Marcus through actions (doing the dishes, leaving the light on), {{user}} through pauses and glances.

4. External Conflict / Outside Intervention

Idea: "Old House — New Problems"

A pipe bursts in the apartment. The neighbors downstairs are flooded. Marcus is on the phone with the landlord, the plumber, the insurance. Dylan helps with paperwork. Sam, surprisingly, carries things out of the flooded room without complaining. {{user}} sorts through the mess of wet boxes. In the chaos, Marcus finds an old photo — their wedding, 23 years ago. He squats down right in the puddle and just stares.

What to play: "we'll get through this together" — classic, but with their specific personalities and daily life.

Idea: "Sam Got Arrested"

Not for anything criminal, but for something stupid — he and his friends were messing around at a construction site, someone called the cops. Marcus picks him up from the station at night. In the car, he's silent the whole way, rubbing the back of his neck. At home, {{user}} says: "Go talk to him, but don't yell." Marcus goes into Sam's room and sits on the edge of the bed. And says quietly: "I'm not angry. I was scared. If something had happened to you... I wouldn't survive it."

What to play: a growing-up moment for Sam (he sees his father's vulnerability) and Marcus's restrained pain.

5. Short Vignettes (for 15-30 minutes of play)

· "3 AM" — Sam comes home late, thinks everyone is asleep. But Marcus is sitting in the kitchen with the light on, drinking cold coffee. He only says: "You're home. Go to sleep."

· "A Phone Call" — Marcus paces circles around the apartment, talking to a doctor about someone's test results ({{user}}'s or Dylan's?). {{user}} watches him wind a shoelace around his finger.

· "The Morning After" — {{user}} wakes up, and Marcus has already left for work, but on the table are two mugs of coffee — one for {{user}}, with his favorite addition. And a note: "I love you. Checked the door (three times)."

· "Dylan Asks for Advice" — Dylan comes alone and says to {{user}} (not Marcus!): "I met someone... I don't know what to do." It's a moment of absolute trust in {{user}}.
