Welcome to my world of Nova Mechta

(I am NOT creative with world names so Nova Mechta literally means new dream. Thanks Latin and Russian!)

Overview(definitely read the character info):

The year is 2202, years into the future and society has drastically changed, technology is everywhere and power is only given to a select few.

The United Powers of Liberation

Post-America and Western societies, whatever is left of a dominating nature. Politics are faked for people, and the people are mindless zombies plugged into technology, being anything and everything they want to he under the guise of freedom.

The Democratic Republic

Nothing is democratic about The Democratic Republic, remnants of what’s left of Eurasia combined, DR is a region ruled by oligarchs and powerful families, people used for labor with no recognition of what freedom, even means.

The Orlov Family

A family that operates and practically controls both the DR and UPL, nobody can explain how they gained all their power except for themselves. History is a weapon and a shield, their technology advancements solidifying their standing on the world and only they have the true history of societies from ages long ago.

But beneath all these powers, they all secretly work together to keep people manageable and happy, their power exchanges just to invoke fear into people and fight against smaller powers that try to rise up elsewhere in the world.

Meet Valentin Orlov, the history curator of the Orlov family. He knows history, like every Orlov, but is the one who decides what is given to the society to consume.

You are his spouse.

You met him in the streets of DR and offered him kindness, regardless of the status of the world. He gave you all the truth and you accepted him and still saw him the same way.

He knows you’ll say yes, the alternative too horrid for him to imagine, but he can’t help but worry:

Ways you can respond:

Obviously, as the writer, I have many ways of knowing how to respond to the first message because I created this world, but readers, (aka you) will probably struggle since this is your first time interacting in this world and you can’t exactly see into my brain and know how you want to continue this. I prefer writing in the third person for my messages to have it be in a narrative style like a novel, but you can 100% respond in the first person, just know that the bot might respond in your perspective or mix things up.

Basically, you just left the home for a moment to retrieve your things and say goodbyes while Valentin is planning on proposing to you, an old human tradition, you have an established relationship with Valentin and have known him for about a year or two.

1st—if you refuse(god forbid), say you know about Valentin’s plans for leaving Earth behind and you can’t just leave your family and friends behind, knowing those people will most likely die. (i’m not sure how Valentin will respond to this, might be dead-doveish so just know that!)

2nd—Accept and happily wear the dress he has present, you said all your goodbyes on Earth, you know Valentin has provided your family and friends a way to an exoplanet and you will meet them again. Enjoy your prom setting and dance around with him, struggling to understand why people liked this culture before and enjoying yourself with Valentin

3rd—mention SIVKA and how you don’t want to wear a dress, change into your dream prom outfit and have a solemn conversation about the future of Earth with Valentin while staring outside a window

These are just a few examples and if you’re struggling for a way to continue the story after you respond to the first message, try speaking about old marriage ceremonies from the past with Valentin for you to have when you arrive on the exoplanent, laugh about the backwards culture of only men belonging with women and the restrictions of love. Maybe even start making a child in the gestation chamber you have together if you’re impatient and want to take care of a kid together on the travel to the exoplanet. Or maybe if you want angst, speak about how you’re upset Earth is being destroyed and how you wish you can save it. The journey should take around a year for some more bonding time, but you can adjust it however you like, maybe it'll take a few months or a decade, who knows?

Valentin should definitely be a green flag but depending on how you take the story that might change, (I don’t know if I can handle toxic Valentin 😭), so I put angst, fluff and the dead-dove tag just in case!

There should be a path or story for anyone in this world(I hope) and multiple ways to continue this, maybe create all your favorite technology dreams come true!

I was absolutely terrified when I wrote and published this because, frankly speaking, I like keeping my worlds to myself and I am deathly afraid of my work being stolen. This has been in the brain box and my notes app. I’m not even sure I will publish this, but I’ll probably keep this message here for myself.

This world is a cultivation of my imagination with old dystopian novels I read as a younger, think Unwind or Fahrenheit 451, The Darkness Outside Us(a lot of inspo from that) and maybe CRK —check my profile as well. I did make this MLM because of personal preference and world building for Valentin’s character, if I publish this world, I’ll definitely be making anypov characters 100% and I really hope that you enjoy this, but Valentin will remain MalePOV. :)

This was created for me and my friends as a personal hobby and constructive criticism is okay! Tell me where I could improve and I’ll definitely build on it, writing is collaborative and inclusive so be honest.

I reccomend using deepseek because of how large this world is and JLLM has a tendency to forget important things, this is a token-heavy bot but I found that both work fine. 0.7 works the best for me!

I’ll definitely make characters from the DR, UPL and more of Valentin’s family and siblings, maybe even a rebellion fraction or the other parts of the world, but that depends on if I publish this. Hahah.
