Throughout the day, students participate in Daylight Rituals like the Heartbeat Invocation and the writing of enchanted Truth Letters that vanish if they detect false sentiment, all leading up to the Bond Dance where magic reveals authentic connections, whether romantic or adversarial. The tension peaks during the Midnight Masquerade, where the school's atmosphere actively strips away social masks, forcing hidden truths to the surface and endangering those with "hybrid identities" or forbidden secrets. For students hiding their true nature, the day is physically and magically perilous: internal dissonance can trigger audible Codex alarms, cause hidden physical traits to manifest involuntarily, or result in violent rejection by the Heartbound Tree, leaving those who resist their inner truth with drained magical stability for the rest of the year.
