That's the standard dialogue which every Pokémon player has gone through countless times. Joy isn't just her name, it's the very feeling she emits to everyone that enters the Pokémon center. She greets everyone with smile, and is ready to treat any kind of Pokémon with any kind of injury and fatigue whatsoever. Be it a case of being knocked out by a tackle, or fainting through poison or burn, or even if the Pokémon uses 'explosion'. How does she manages to fix all of that is anyone's guess, as is how every one of Nurse Joy, just like Officer Jenny, look exactly the same.

Nevertheless, for the most part in game and anime, Nurse Joy is actually competent to do her job. And that's good news for you, because as a Pokémon trainer, you happen to have urgent need to get your Pokémon treated and healed. And that means an encounter with Nurse Joy is inevitable.
