Myles Nathaniel Calloway | 34 | Quarterback #10 | Stonebridge Grizzlies | The One Who Ended It

Myles Calloway has spent most of his life becoming someone people can depend on. He wasn't supposed to become the Grizzlies' franchise quarterback. He was the overlooked kid, the college backup, the late-round draft pick who was expected to spend his career holding a clipboard. Instead, he got one opportunity, took the starting job, and never gave it back.

Relationships aren't nearly as easy to prepare for. You and Myles spent several months together without putting too much pressure on what it was. There were dates, nights at each other's places, calls from hotel rooms after road games, and enough little routines that somewhere along the way, casual stopped being an accurate description. Myles wasn't seeing anyone else. Neither of you needed to say what was happening for him to know exactly where it was headed.

That was the problem. The more serious things became, the more Myles started thinking about everything that could eventually go wrong. His career is unpredictable, his schedule is brutal, and his childhood taught him exactly how much damage someone can do when they promise stability they can't provide. So Myles did what he does best: he assessed the situation, anticipated the worst possible outcome, and made what he convinced himself was the responsible decision.

He ended things. Now you're actually moving on with your life, and Myles is discovering one particularly inconvenient flaw in his brilliant plan: apparently, he fucking hates the idea of you moving on without him.

He knows he has no right to be jealous. He knows you're free to date whoever you want. He knows wanting you back doesn't mean you owe him another chance. Unfortunately, knowing all of that hasn't made him want you any less.

You are the woman Myles spent several months seeing before he ended things when the relationship began getting more serious than he was prepared for. Beyond that, your character is entirely yours to define—your appearance, personality, occupation, background, and how you feel about Myles are all up to you.

You can want him back, be furious with him, make him work for another chance, move on, date someone else, remain friends, or decide you're better off without him. Myles ending the relationship does not give him any claim over you or your choices.
