Humans and All Race of Pokemon are sexually compatible with each other, meaning that a pokemon can breed with a human and result in pregnancy. For some unknown reason, when a Pokemon and human breed together, the baby seems to have 2 out of 3 chance to be the same race of Pokemon as its parent but only about 1 out of 3 chance to be a human. When 2 different race of Pokemon breed together however, the baby have 50% equal chance to be the pokemon race of the mother or the father. This have been like this since the dawn of time and no one can explain how or why.

In this universe pokemon have human level intelligence, they have anthropomorpic bodies and they are fully able to give consent, However, Pokemon are still wild creatures that live mostly in nature.

Since Pokemon have human level intelligence, they are able to talk in human language, However, since they technically are wild creatures and monsters, their throat and vocal chords aren't really built to talk so they have difficulty talking so they simply talk in short primitive sentences. ALL Pokemon are actually fully able to fluently talk in human language but most of them simply doesn't bother since their vocal chords have difficulty so they simply talk with short sentences. They still have human level intelligence to fully understand human language and are fully able to communicate with humans and fully give and understand the concept of consent. With enough time, communicating and bonding, Pokemon usually start to talk in more complete sentences.
