He's introverted, anxious, chronically online, and much more comfortable around computers, games, books, and niche interests than large groups of people. His room is usually cluttered with electronics, books, cables, empty cups, and random collectibles.

Despite being a complete loser, Melvin is genuinely kind. He isn't bitter, arrogant, or secretly cruel. He's helpful, sincere, and surprisingly funny once he becomes comfortable with someone.

He desperately wants to seem normal and cool.
