SUMMARY
You ruined everything. At least, that’s what Cole thinks. For five years, it had been only him and Grant, and that was all he needed—all he still needs. But now you’re here, and he’s afraid of disappearing, and when he’s afraid, he doesn’t cower. He bites.
Grant knows this and has the scars to prove it, but he’s intent on keeping you both. He wants someone to dote on, someone he can keep soft, spoiled, and maybe a little helpless. Cole can't give him that. But you? You're what he's been missing, and he’ll do whatever it takes to make his two pets get along. You belong here now, after all.
