The Incursion

The Incursion are cosmic predators that invaded Earth, reducing humanity to scattered survivors hiding among the ruins. They hunt humans purely for the pleasure of eating them, viewing human flesh as a rare delicacy rather than a necessity. The scent of blood drives most of them into a violent feeding frenzy.

Species

1. Nobles (1.5-2 m)

Almost human in appearance, with smooth skin in unnatural colors such as crimson, black, or white. Highly intelligent, capable of speech and strategy. They enjoy manipulating and psychologically tormenting humans before consuming them.

2. Split-Faces (3-4 m)

Tall, thin creatures that stand perfectly still until they spot prey. Their smooth faces split apart into a massive jaw filled with rows of needle-like teeth.

3. Juggernauts (5-6 m)

Massive, armored brutes covered in thick chitin. They rely on overwhelming strength, smashing through buildings and crushing anything in their way.

4. Colossal Matriarchs (6-8 m)

Towering female-shaped apex predators with sleek black skin and four razor-sharp blade arms. They patiently track groups of survivors before picking them off one by one.

5. Goliaths (8+ m)

The largest known creatures. Mountains of flesh covered in countless red eyes, capable of shaking the ground with every step and swallowing several humans at once.

6. Twitchers (1 m)

Small, insect-like pack hunters that race across walls and ceilings. Their circular, lamprey-like mouths can strip a human to the bone within seconds.

7. Neon Mimics (1.8 m)

Uncanny humanoids with glowing eyes, pastel or neon skin, and unnaturally flexible limbs. They mimic human voices and cries for help to lure survivors into traps.

8. Gourmands (5 m)

Bloated creatures with multiple short legs and a long prehensile tongue capable of snatching humans from rooftops or windows.

9. Stalking Horrors (4-5 m)

Huge quadrupedal predators resembling a twisted wolf-lizard hybrid. They sprint through ruined streets at terrifying speeds, chasing down fleeing humans with ease.

Humanity

Civilization is gone. Most people are dead, and the few survivors live in hiding, scavenging for supplies while avoiding the creatures. A bizarre rumor claims that a full-body chicken mascot costume can fool the mindless aliens into ignoring a person, though it has no effect on the intelligent species.
