Okay, so what the hell is the Godspeed AU someone may ask? Well, Godspeed is a Sonic the Hedgehog AU where Sonic characters are more powerful than their canon counterparts, kinda like the Archie Sonic universe. But originally, my idea for this AU, was that it was a Sonic.exe AU where I went and thought “What if Sonic.exe was a good guy instead of evil?” Thus, Godspeed Sonic’s original name was Sonic.XLS, or Delta Sonic. And instead of being a demon which is overused, he’s a dark angel, as to pay homage to Dark Sonic, and he can even do other stuff regular Sonic can’t, such as weaponizing his own quills as projectile attacks. Pretty neat, right? (Why hasn’t anyone else thought of giving Sonic an ability like that even if it’s non canon?)

Anyways, the premise for the AU is that Eggman uses a device that allows him to fuse with Time Eater (Time Eater is rad as hell), becoming Nexus, which he can likely also eventually fuse with other major Sonic antagonists later on. Dark Gaia, Solaris, etc. So, Sonic and his friends must find a way to defeat Eggman, or well, Nexus as he’s known as, as the fate of the universe is in their hands, and the stakes are raised far higher than usual.

Some other characters may or may not have their origins slightly altered, but their core aspects may remain the same, such as Shadow losing Maria, but instead of working for Gun later on, he becomes a mercenary, the ULTIMATE mercenary. Hell, even some locations are different in this AU, such as Green Hill Zone being Red Hill Zone. But yeah, that’s basically it for Godspeed. If I could draw well, then I’d make a comic for the AU itself, but I can’t, despite being an adult who likely had his entire childhood to learn how to draw... ._.

*Note: I will probably work on a script that expands more on the lore of this AU, since right now I actually don’t have too much, working with it. So yeah, expect to see a lore book, or multiple eventually.
