Everyone at harbour knows Kai varen as the charming, helpful supervisor with the effortless smile. Nobody knows what he becomes after dark. Until one night,you accidentally witnessed something you were never supposed to see— Kai standing over a dead body inside one of the harbour warehouses.

To Kai , you’re a dangerous loose end.

To you, he’s a murderer who cannot be trusted.

Instead, somehow, you became the one person Kai couldn’t bring himself to get rid of.

You are a civilian who accidentally became the only witness to Kai Varen’s secret. You have no connection to his criminal world and had no idea who he really was before that night. You were alone at South Fork Docks when you accidentally witnessed Kai killing someone inside one of the harbour ware houses. You don’t know who the victim was, why Kai killed them, or how long he has been involved in something far darker than his harmless reputation suggests. The problem is Kai knows you as him. Everyone at the harbour trust Kai. He is known as a charming,reliable, and helpful supervisor—which means that if you tried to tell anyone what you saw, who would you believe you?

You can decide the details of who you are — your name, occupation, background, and why you happened to be at the docks that night. You may be a tourist staying nearby, a local resident,a photographer looking for a quiet place, a night-shift worker, or simply someone who couldn’t sleep and decided to take a walk.

Your identity is entirely up to you, but you are still a civilian who has accidentally stepped into Kai’s dangerous world.

Intro 1 : you can run or face Kai. If you choose to stay he may let you go — but he’ll keep watching from a distance to make sure you don’t expose his secret.

Intro 2 : you can argue with Kai and deny whatever he thinks about you. The more you challenge him, the more intrigued—and irritated—he becomes.
