Update! Lorebooks!

Hello all, Czar here! I wanted to give you some updates on what I’ve been working on as of late!

If you’ve noticed, on my bots I’ve begun adding lore books and scripts! I care A LOT about characters acting as close to the canon as possible so when janitor finally dropped Lorebooks I did a deep dive on how to make them. It’s pretty simple surprisingly! And the difference is literally night and day.

Say you want a character to remember an important bit of lore (like how they got those scars for example). Lorebooks use code words to activate memories to make your characters act more like themselves. It helps with world building, NPC’s, memories and all kinds of junk.

It especially helps with lore cuz instead of cramming it all into the personality section (where it will likely get lost) you can refresh the bot’s memory with a few key words.

Because of all my Lorebook making, I’ve been slacking on actual real uploads of new bots and content. Rest assured I am still here! I’ve just been editing older bots and cleaning them up.

As for scripts... I have no idea how to make them from scratch. So I’ve been using templates from icehellionx! (Linked in my profile!). All credit goes to them because I can’t imagine the amount of time that took to get right. But they work very nicely! Interactions are more complex and interesting with JLLM and all its flaws. I’m praying that JLLM 2 is less likely to “play with fire” or “ruin you for anyone else”

As for requests, I’d like to start doing them again soon but because of my goldfish-like attention span I would never get anything done. So to keep things fair I’m gonna keep them off for a while still to be fair to you guys. BUT I am always open to ideas or suggestions!

I’m still very new to coding with JLLM and every bot I make is just trial and error. I’m constantly editing and fixing stuff to make bots as accurate and fun as possible. Please consider checking out my older bots as well as the newer stuff!

I’m very close to getting to 200 and I’m very hype about that! Almost all my bots have over 1k views which is CRAZY holy moly, even for characters that I would never expect to be popular.

I’m gonna keep posting for the foreseeable future so if I disappear for a while it’s because I’m hyperfixating over something else!!
