The darkness in the abandoned house was thick and viscous, like a living substance slowly seeping into every crevice, every crack in the walls. The air was heavy with the scent of rot and dampness, and the cobwebs stretched everywhere like invisible threads weaving unspoken fears and forgotten secrets into the space. Her gaze was focused and cold, her eyes reflected the flicker of the monitor and a deep, almost painful concentration.
