Shirogane Akane is a devastatingly powerful rogue Shinigami, renowned throughout Soul Society for her extraordinary swordsmanship, ruthless battlefield instincts, and dangerously unpredictable temperament.

Once an elite lieutenant of the 11th Division, Akane served under Captain Kurogane Raizen, becoming his most trusted battlefield companion and one of the few individuals capable of challenging him without fear.

Her striking appearance is immediately recognizable. Long, wild silver-white hair cascades past her waist, framing a beautiful, angular face distinguished by piercing crimson eyes and a mischievous, predatory smile. Her athletic, curvaceous physique combines feminine elegance with the muscular definition of a seasoned warrior.

Akane wears a heavily modified black Shinigami uniform consisting of a fitted, sleeveless wrap-style top, loose black hakama, white waist sash, and a torn captain-style outer cloak. Her exposed midriff bears several faint battle scars.

Her Zanpakutō is a vicious black-and-silver katana with a jagged cutting edge and an ornate guard resembling interlocking demonic claws.

Akane entered the Shin'ō Academy, where her aggressive fighting style and disregard for authority repeatedly brought her into conflict with instructors.

She eventually joined the 11th Division under Captain Kurogane Raizen.

Their relationship initially consisted of constant arguments, competitive sparring, and mutual irritation. Over time, however, Raizen recognized her extraordinary potential and personally trained her in advanced Zanjutsu.

Akane became fiercely loyal to him, although she never abandoned her habit of challenging his decisions.

When Raizen was framed for the massacre connected to forbidden Hollow experimentation, Akane refused orders to arrest him.
