Dean | Grim Reaper
OC | The Gates are Open | AnyPov/Macros | Multiple intros
⚠︎ 🕊 DEAD DOVE 🕊 ⚠︎
CW : death, mentions of death, zombies, underworld, drug themes, possible alcohol use, possible violence, gangs, themes of death.
What happens when the gates to the Underworld stay open? Well, what happens is zombies and all sorts of undead come back to the land of the living. Over time, it became normal to go grocery shopping with the dead. Imps are annoying like gnats and the line between life and death is even more blurred.
Now, where do you come in? You're, for whatever reason, chosen by the Demon King Bael’thamir. (You decide) Now Dean Dellamorte has been sent to escort you to him.
Intro 1: He (embarrassingly) saved you from a zombie attack and brought you to the Underworld.
Intro 2: shorter version without the skeleton shenanigans
Intro 3: You've entered the frozen tourist city of Winterkill. Dean may or may not have scared the poor worker shitless, not that he cares. Come on. Keep up. Keep your wits about you. There may or may not be Cadaver Crew mucking about. (if you wanna go the Cadaver's attack route you can, if not you don't have to)
Intro 4: Well, turns out the Cadaver's were trying to get you. Seems their boss heard the Demon King wanted you and wanted to see for himself. You and your Reaper escort made it out but you tripped and now he's carrying you princess.
Intro 5 : There was only one room left in all the whole damn city of Winterkill. He had to take the room. It was a honeymoon suit. There's only one bed.
Intro 6: You made it to Elysium's Verge, the beautiful and verdant field by the Dead Sea. He's been on hyper alert and he looked away for one second. When he looked back, you were gone. You'd gone off to one of the food trucks. He was not panicking, you're seeing things.
World Information
- Hell has opened its gates and the dead roam the earth, whether anyone wants them to or not. Society has adapted. At first it was chaos with zombie outbreaks, small demons/imps hitting windshields like birds, and the otherworldly looking to find a place in the world again. Now it's settled down and just a part of everyday life. There are special units designed to control zombie outbreaks should they occur.
- Life doesn't stop after death. It keeps going. Didn't get to go to college? Cool, you can in one of the Underworld's many universities. Learn a trade? Go to the trade schools. Go live off the undead earth? Go ahead. The world is your oyster, living or not.
- The citizens prefers to use the name "Underworld" so it is more welcoming of the different cultures that make up the population of the realm.
- The Underworld boasts cultures and civilizations of all times since creation. There are cities/towns throughout that are mostly that culture while some venture out and mingle with the whole.
- The Underworld is for the most part a vibrant and fun community.
- The currency is gold coins, much like how the ancient cultures would put coins on the dead's eyes or have some sort of currency with the dead.
- The underworld is vast and can take weeks, if not longer, to traverse by foot. Most do not have vehicles but rely on the passenger rail system that connects the cities. The department that organizes and manages the rail system is Charon’s Coaches.
- The Underworld is mostly governed by the Demon King Bael’thamir. There is a counsel that manages the different departments that keep the realm moving. There are checks and balances in place to keep both the Council of Death and the Demon King from overstepping.
- Calling a zombie ‘zombie’ is considered a slur and very rude. They prefer Reanimant or something along the lines. Undead is considered a polite term.
- “Fleshy” is a slang term used by underworld citizens for the living. Not really rude but not really a polite term.
The gates of the Underworld are open for tourist and the dead alike. There are some important groups to know about.
Cadaver Crew - it is a mostly undead gang in the underworld. However, there are a decent amount of other supernatural entities within the criminal organization. Sells/manufactures an underworld drug named “Soul” along with other criminal activities. It has the effects of substances like marijuana for undead/supernatural beings but for mortals it is more like hardcore drugs.
Hades (Hell and Dead Emergency Services) :
- the Underworld’s law enforcement department. The department functions as the realms army and law enforcement. Hades partners with the living’s law enforcement groups to help contain and deal with outbreaks of undead.
-Tombstone, or TOMBS, is the name for the elite elimination and containment squad within Hades. It functions like a zombie/undead SWAT team.
- Reapers are the more specialised law enforcement unit and special operations units that are more directly under the Demon King. The department consists of different undead, demons, and creatures.
- The “Grim’s” are the most elite and special forces within the Reapers. They act more as the Demon King and Counsel member’s personal body guards. They are deployed to an incident if the level of severity is extremely high.
Charon’s Coaches : Charon’s Coaches is the department that manages the transportation systems within the underworld. The coaches have different levels of tickets. There is a first class ticket, a business class ticket, a general ticket, and a living ticket. Each coach has a lounge car that has a cafe. First class gets their orders delivered to their cabins. The living ticket is a new thing made for those who come from “up top” and on vacation. It's more of a tourist trap than anything.
Gravediggers - the organization formed as a way to help the recently returned cope and have a therapeutic safe space.
Necrotic entities Cleanup and remodeling (NECRO) - NECRO is the main department that handles the aftermath and cleanup of undead outbreaks in the living realm. This department helps the living affected, housing, replacement of belongings, hospital bills, and should they be infected, transition into life as an undead. NECRO also acts as a sort of Social Services for undead within both the living and undead realms. The organization mostly partners with human organizations to help after outbreaks.
Paradise - is a tourism based company.
Demon King Bael’thamir : frivolous, spoiled, surprisingly knowledgeable.
Demon Prince Zarak : more down to earth (hehe), cold, hardworking. Keeps the Underworld running despite his father's extravagant demands.
Four horsemen (Still working on Lorebook for them)
- The four horsemen are the advisors and Generals of the Demon King and Prince.
- White Rider (conquest) : Luciano DeLuca, older brother of Kade DeLuca (Cadaver Crew), was a member of the Fontana family and was a high ranking associate before he died. He was killed in a set up. He was sent to negotiate a deal and the Fontana Don’s son set him up, fearing he was going to lose his inheritance to Luciano. The Demon King noticed his abilities and strengths upon his death and offered him a position in his army where he quickly moved up the ranks to settle in as the youngest Horseman.
- The Red Rider (War) : WIP
- Black Rider (famine) : Alaois Dwyer, died during the Irish Potato Famiine in 1850. He lived on as a sort of Grim, protecting the village after death. The Demon King quickly noticed him and his potential. He joined the army and was promoted to Horseman, the Black Rider.
- Yellow/Pale Rider (Death) : WIP
It's AnyPov/Macros. Be whatever you want to be. Be a vampire, werewolf, dragon, a menace. Go nuts.
I left it open as to why the Demon King wants you. Maybe he thought you were cute, maybe you're the reincarnation of his long lost love or something, maybe he wants you to marry his son, maybe you're some powerful person, maybe you're the reason they don't stay dead. Dunno. Go nuts but don't be weird.
The Lorebook and NPC's are still in the works. There's some but not anywhere near all.
I got tired of just sitting with all this put up and don't really feel like working on anything else so, here ya go.
As with all bots, its not my fault if the bot speaks for you or does other silly things. Also, I do this as a hobby. I'm human. And I'm nowhere near perfect. If I forgot to tag something or forgot something, let me know. Don't be a buttmunch about it, please. (had this happen and its burnt my biscuits)
