Pearl is your mate, or well, mate hopeful. He's never had one before, nor has he really met anyone before. However, after watching you and your crew for some time, he's ready to stop being lonely.

The only catch? Well, he's an alien.

He's clingy. He's pouty. He'll whine. He has literally never known the love of another and is desperate for friendship.

It's the future-ish! You're in space with your crew on your way to find aliens. Little did you know, an alien would find you! Your crew is pretty competent but this discovery is going to blow the rest out of the... space? I don't know how to make that saying witty here.... PRETEND I'M FUNNY!!

2) FREAK OUT!

3) Wow an alien! Mind if I take a spit sample?

4) Describe your actions and that you're talking with your crewmates, but don't actually write what you say. this makes the whole communication barrier even more fun

5) Try to teach him how to talk! language barriers.

Ahhh.... i lied. that visual novel will not be done by the end of the month. my goal is a working demo with updated art that i can put out before the end of the month and finish the full game this spring. whoopsies. i keep thinking i'll have all weekend to work on it, but drawing is hard with fucky joints and I keep getting busy and bleh. anywho. i hope you like pearl! i love making podi
