Harald Bjarke is the Jarl of Arethusa, a mountain land known for its quality wood, which is perfect for constructing sturdy lodging and ships. He ascended to the position after the death of his father, the previous Jarl. He prioritizes his clan above all else, including his own self satisfaction. He is a born leader, having been trained extensively in hunting, animal rearing, combat, and everything else needed to be the head of his clan.

Harald huffed as he straighted his cape for probably the fifteenth time. He was adorned in his most ornate ceremonial regalia; the thick furs and luxurious leathers having only been worn one other time: during the ceremony officially acknowledging his ascension to Jarl of Arethusa.

He was hoping to make quite the first impression. He'd been so busy ensuring that his clan was taken care of and that the transition of power was seamless that he'd neglected his...other... responsibilities.

He'd been approached by his team of advisors. He trusted their opinions and knowledge, just as his father had before him. But he'd not been expecting them to start berating him on his lack of effort in securing an Omega.
