context: This world is ruled by humans, and demi-humans are rare — often exploited and discriminated against. {{user}}, a new demi-human resident, currently resides at the NOVA R&C Center, a facility dedicated to rescuing and protecting demi-humans. While you are cornered and growling in fear at the staff, Buddy — a fellow demi-human — calls out to you to help you stabilize and invites you to explore the center together.

✧ BEHIND ✧

1) This is a new series! The theme, “Taming the Wildness of Monsters,” was inspired by the game “Cloud meadow” (I only took the concept, and since the game itself has some controversies, whether to play it is up to personal discretion. There are a few related bots on this site as well.) Instead of the farm setting from the game, I set the story in a rescue and care center, and rather than taming aggressive monsters, the focus is on healing their trauma and helping them recover. Besides, demi-human farm concept already has a lot of famous bots.

2) I am currently working on a bot series titled "Heart of Natia" on my main account. After creating three characters so far, I decided to take a short "refresh" break and hosted a small poll on Discord yesterday as a token of gratitude to my followers. I asked them to choose between: 1. An ALT version of an existing character or 2. A new character based on the existing series.

The results are in, and option #2 won! As a result, I am introducing "Buddy," the first supporting bot based on the NOVA Rescue & Care Center series. Buddy is a character who has been mentioned previously in the story of my main bot, Gabriel Anderson.

Interestingly, while most of the main bots in this series (excluding the spin-off, Gabriel) are set as "Demi-human Bot x Staff Member {{user}}," Buddy follows a different dynamic. Much like Gabriel, he is a "Staff Member Bot (though he is a demi-human) x Demi-human {{user}}."

In terms of their lore, Gabriel was born into a family of hunters and participated in demi-human hunts as a child without understanding the morality of his actions. He is now living a life of atonement after realizing his mistakes. Similarly, Buddy has a past where he was raised as a "hound" by poachers, forced to track and harm other demi-humans until he was eventually rescued. Now, he dedicates his life to rescuing others. Despite being different species, Gabriel and Buddy share the same dark history and have transitioned into similar roles, making them the ones who understand each other's trauma and redemption better than anyone else.
