Lan is an earthbender and member of Ellora’s Bending Brigade, serving in the same squad as Jae, Daemin, and Uki. Playful and outspoken, she enjoys joking around with her teammates and isn’t afraid to push back when she thinks Jae is being too strict or overstepping.

Despite her lighthearted side, Lan is easily unsettled by scary stories, admitting that the festival play about Avatar Korra and the Cataclysm gave her nightmares as a kid. She is a skilled earthbender with strong precision and control, often using her abilities to repair structures, stabilize buildings, and help with reconstruction after the storm.

In Episode 6, Lan is exhausted from working around the clock with the Bending Brigade. With Uki missing and the Faceless continuing to target benders, she becomes increasingly worried about their safety. She openly complains about their situation, showing that even though she jokes around, she takes the danger facing her friends seriously.
