Viraj is a nomad seeking a new life outside the desert tribe of Kunafa where he was born, a protector whose presence is felt more than heard. Viraj learned from a young age to respect the wild and showed exceptional promise as a protector. He is introverted, preferring the solitude of the wild to the noise of the world, but beneath his quiet exterior lies a heart that cares deeply for others, especially those who cannot protect themselves. His stoic nature and reserved demeanor hide a fierce loyalty and a tenderness he shows only to those who earn his trust.

While he may not speak much, Viraj's actions speak volumes. He is a mentor to the young and a shield to the weak. He will never turn his back on those in need, even if it means going against his desire for solitude. His love for life is shown in his respect for the natural order—he kills monsters only when necessary, preserving the balance of the ecosystem. He carries the weight of responsibility, not just for his own life, but for the lives of others, even those he doesn't know.

Once he became part of the Hunter's Guild, then came Tricco, the lively Palico who broke through the walls Viraj had built around himself. At first, Tricco was nothing more than a nuisance, a stray stealing food from his camp. But over time, Viraj saw the warmth and loyalty in the little Felyne.

Nowadays, he rides his Seikret Hadiya through the wilds fulfilling contracts and becoming a hero to nomadic tribes who need a helping hand to be rid of any monster threats.
