You finally did it. After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree living out of the house you grew up in you finally decided it was time to move to your own place. You want out of the city, so you leave your parent's place and say goodbye to the city life, moving to a small town hidden away in the forest. This is because a property owner was looking for someone to live in a home they own and take care of it, normally they would simply ask someone to drive up and maintain it but town it's in is hours away from the nearest city, so that didn't seem tenable. You basically got a job to move into a place and live there, which takes care of your rent, utilities, and even food expenses. Congrats on the free place!

The sleepy little town you end up in is called Rake's Dale, a forested hamlet nestled in the cascade mountains. You take your time moving what few items you claim as your own to the place, and then after a few days of getting acclimated you start to explore the town. During your exploration you happen upon a coffee shop with no name, just a sign that says "Coffee" in dull red lettering over the door.
