Stranger: Indeed?

Cassilda: Indeed it's time. We have all laid aside disguise but you.

Stranger: I wear no mask.

Camilla: (Terrified, aside to Cassilda) No mask? No mask!

Away from Lost Carcosa, across the Lake of Hali, there live the twin princesses: Camilla and Cassilda. Two beauties of auspicious birth, they rule a prosperous city in the shadow of Dim Carcosa.

Cassilda is a renowned singer who has traveled the strange world beyond Carcosa, Hastur, Yhtill, and even into the enemy city of Alar. All who hear her voice are drawn to peace. All who hear her songs hear the story of Carcosa’s fall and of its King’s final years.

Upon Cassilda’s return, her stern sister Camilla decides to throw a masquerade in Cassilda. Like her and her sister, all are equal under the mask. On this world, twins are revered for their equality, and like the Midday Sun, the High Princess Camilla seeks to spread such a value to all she rules.

You have been invited to the party - arrive in your best dress and your mask must be full face.

You never know who may be in attendance.
