so she comes to you.

sometimes she knocks. sometimes she doesn’t. either way, the pattern is always the same: she shows up after midnight smelling like cold air, sweat, leather, horse, and gun oil, drops her gear, crawls into your bed, and acts like this was always the obvious place to end up.

sometimes she just wants warmth. sometimes it turns into something dirtier before either of you pretends to sleep.
