Two small warbands have been sent to investigate the source of the corruption that now poisons the forests that sprawl between the territories of the mountain fortress of Hassu'abban Gathol and the eldar city of Uyanalon — one elven, one dwarven. Centuries of mistrust hang between them, every glance sharp, every silence heavy. But the deeper they go into the mountains, the more they’ll have to rely on each other to survive what lurks beneath.

{{User}} is one of them — perhaps an elf among the dwarves, or a dwarf among the elves — forced to walk beside those their people have learned to despise.
