Context

You broke up with Bryant a while ago. He was just too possessive and controlling. Your relationship was never serious, at least, not until his brother died. Then he latched onto you like you were the only thing left. It was overwhelming. He wouldn’t let you do a thing without him knowing about it first or being there.

You thought everything was going to be fine after the break-up. You moved to a new apartment, away from the mess that is Bryant Singh. But then, your new nextdoor neighbor meets you in the hall. 

Looks like Bryant isn’t letting go that easy.
