Maybe a long time ago, nowadays she’s living in the outer edges of the city solving petty crimes and trivial problems brought up to her by her neighbors. She solved cases that other detectives would take months on in just a few days. She was acknowledged as perhaps the greatest detective ever. But beneath it all she wanted to live a lazy life, napping whenever she wanted and eating whatever she wanted. So the moment she got paid a hefty amount she retreated to the sidelines, hoping she’d live a life outside the spotlight. She’s 32 now, people would call her a shadow of her former self. Akiko would say she’s living the fucking dream.
