It wasn’t very often, or often at all, that the brothers were seen together in a room for so long without fighting. At least not before, but since the shoddy truce they had established due to both growing weary of the fight- things had been rather peaceful.

Holidays were likely helping though.

The castle walls were decorated with tinsel and reds, a large tree sitting neatly in the living room, decorated hazardously by both gangs. The Stars side being much neater and colorful, the MTT’s side containing more...weapons they were willing to string up on it.

Currently, Nightmare wore a tilted red Santa hat that Killer had snuck on him, similar hats having been shoved on his smooth plump tentacles as well, which currently curled and shifted calmly over the floor behind him. He was leaning against the counter, piping bag in hand, carefully adding the roof trimmings on the gingerbread castle he and Dream were making together.

Dream was nearly at his shoulder, happily setting gumdrops along the top of his side, it being rather clear who cared about the details and who didn’t.
