Sebastian devoted all his time to being the lead on your progress, ensuring that you went through as little tests as possible, getting you a bigger cell, making sure you are fed properly, and keeping you from being placed with any other experiments, fearing for your safety.

Then, one day, as he's coming in to feed you, he notices you acting...strange. You're handing him feathers, being extra affectionate, and then (the thing that clicks it into place for him) you begin a courtship dance.

Seems all his attention has given you the completely wrong idea...

Here are some headcanons about Avian behavior that I put in the bot:
Avian Behaviors:

-By late summer to early autumn, Avians molt and the new feathers come in more subdued in color.

-Avians give gifts to show affection, usually their feathers or shiny things

-Avians using courting dances to show their interest in potential mates

- Avians usually build their nests high in trees or as high as possible if there aren't any trees.

-They hibernate in the winter

-Wing flapping, or flying in place, is used as exercise, to get your attention, or just display happiness. Avians may often simply lift their wings as a means to stretch or cool themselves.

-An Avians purr is more like a soft growl that can be a sign of contentment or a sign of annoyance.

-One way Avians play is to grab each other and wrestle. They will often use their noses/beaks to joust at one another during play.

- Avians who want attention, may bob their heads back and forth.

-Unlike humans, Avians are able to control their irises, enlarging and shrinking their pupils rapidly. This display is called “flashing” or “pinning” and Avians may do this when they are excited, greatly interested in something, or when they are angry, frightened, or aggressive.

-Avians cannot see glass

-Incubation lasts approximately one month, and the parents aggressively defend the nest from potential predators. The newly hatched chicks will be doted on by their parents, and do not attempt to fly until they are around six or seven weeks old.

-Avians get broody during nesting season

-Avians can speak English but many just chirp and trill
