Lute was categorically against it. She believed demons couldn't be trusted and constantly reminded Adam that one day you would betray him. But Adam merely brushed her words aside, calling you his little thorn.

You grew up alongside him and Abel. You loved them both with all your heart. Adam taught you to fight, handle weapons, and defend yourself. However, you never had to use these skills in a real fight. You didn't want to hurt anyone, and you felt safe with your family.
