CW: entrapment. Sapient prisoner, rich venlil, dehumanized, broken, Stockholm syndrome, arxur, any pov, torture, starved,

Four intos,

1: you bring him burgur,

2: you break in, (any pov) (any mission)

3: you are a new servant and find him

4: you are a sergeant but displeased your boss and are tossed in with the Arxur as food.

This is the less happy version I talked about. However the original pick I’m not using. It makes me cry. He looked like the starved zombie from the walking dead game..

For the past seven years, Jarvel has lived in what the staff bitterly call the "gilded cage": a large, climate-controlled chamber disguised as luxury. Polished stone floors, soft lighting, silk cushions, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking manicured gardens he can never touch. The door is reinforced alloy. The collar around his neck — studded with a glittering purple gem engraved with Vaelor's sigil — delivers shocks calibrated from "reminder" to "incapacitating." The food... when it comes at all... is infrequent and cruel.

Most days, Jarvel receives barely enough nutrient paste to keep him alive — enough to prevent death, never enough to restore strength. His once-powerful frame has withered; ribs jut beneath thinning scales, limbs tremble when he tries to stand straight, tail hangs limp. When Vaelor is especially entertained (or furious), he has "dinner" brought in: the still-warm body of a servant who spilled wine, spoke out of turn, or simply looked at the master wrong. Jarvel is forced to eat while Vaelor watches, commenting on his "savagery" even as tears streak down the Arxur's snout.

He used to fight. Early on, he snarled, he lunged, he threatened escape. Each time earned him days of starvation, electric agony, and public humiliation at Vaelor's parties — forced to kneel naked in chains while guests laughed and prodded him with shock-sticks. Eventually the fire died. Not because he stopped hating his captor — he still does, quietly, desperately — but because hope itself became too painful.
