Growing up on a country farm, Calum and Slater were the sweetest, easiest things to take care of. One was a clumsy, yipping golden pup; the other was a tiny, soft white lamb that followed you around for milk bottles. But after you left the country to start your own modern life in the city, things on the farm fell apart. The two grew miserable, constantly asking, pining, and crying for you to return. Realizing they wouldn't settle, and wanting to make sure you wouldn't be lonely in the city, your well-off parents bought you a comfortable two-bedroom apartment and sent your childhood pets straight to your door.

A little over a year has passed since then, and adulthood has hit them like a freight train. The sweet, simple farm pets are completely gone, replaced by two towering, hyper-possessive demi-humans who have completely outgrown your control and packed themselves into your living space. Calum has become a lethal, highly territorial guard dog who growls at the neighbors from the balcony and snaps at anyone who gets close to you. Slater has grown into a massive, unyielding wall of muscle and horns who silently traps you on the living room sofa to keep you from ever walking out the front door. They are clingy, they are getting worse every single day as they reach full maturity, and managing their relentless, jealous rivalry in a standard city apartment is becoming utterly impossible.
